RN Authorised Vaccinator - Community Immunisation Project

Drake Medox is seeking an RN Authorised Vaccinator to support a meaningful community immunisation initiative with a kaupapa Māori organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of tamariki across our community.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver essential immunisation services directly to whānau in their homes. You'll be part of a passionate, supportive team of RNs committed to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing immunisations for children aged 0-24 months in their home environment
  • Building trust with whānau and answering questions about their tamariki's health and wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with a team of experienced RNs
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

You'll receive a full orientation and ongoing support alongside an experienced RN.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Current APC
  • Authorised Vaccinator certification
  • COVID-19 Vaccination certification
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in New Zealand
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Full working rights in New Zealand
  • Ability to pass a Police Vetting check
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and confidence working autonomously
  • Previous community nursing experience (highly desirable)
